I grew up in Palisades, Rockland County New York. I started hair school while I was still in highschool, and grew to have a huge passion for the industry. This was my path. I could not walk away from what I had built so far, and I was eager to see what the future held. How did you end up working at Shear Serenity? I was building my clientele for a while, and quickly realized I couldn’t work for someone. My brother suggested I started my own salon, and 2 weeks later I opened, and the rest is history! What is your biggest accomplishment in your career so far? Experiencing the Salon’s 10 year anniversary was definitely my biggest accomplishment so far, and I am ready for the next ten! What is your favorite product right now, and how would you recommend to use it? Right now that will be Dry Oil from Matrix. It adds a perfect balance between hydration and shine to the hair without weighing it down. Do you have an absolute favorite part of your profession? The creativity, and the ability to make someone feel beautiful and confident in their self is what keeps me going. What would be typical “you” outside of work? Hobbies, activities, etc.? My children, friends and family means everything to me. I love to travel, take in the moment and I am enjoying the ride of life!
